Scheme Details

Minimum contribution of Rs.500  (between Rs.100 - Rs.500)

Registration with PETA + Free T Shirt (available in Adult Black Tee in 3 sizes 3 sizes – Small/ Medium and Large and Women’s cropped Tee in Medium Size).

Contributions of more than Rs.500  (between Rs.500 – Rs.1000)

1.        FREE copies of Animal Times

2.        The quarterly newsletter and updates,

3.        PETA India official membership card

4.        Free PETA T-shirt (available in Adult Black Tee in 3 sizes 3 sizes – Small/ Medium and Large and Women’s cropped Tee in Medium Size).

An annual Contribution of Rs. 1000 or more

In addition to 1,2,3, and 4 above, pack of ten greeting cards to your door.

 

However, to get a receipt and to avail of the Tax rebate, you need to contribute more than Rs. 100/-.

 

 Do I need to contact PETA India for using the service?

No, You do not have to contact PETA India for using the service. After you register for the service, we will in turn coordinate with PETA India on your behalf.

 

Will I get a receipt online for the contributions I make?

Yes.  you will get a receipt online.  Also PETA India will send you the physical receipt by post for your contribution and also send you the Tax exemption certificate.  The receipt will specify all your details like name, address, amount paid, scheme donated for, etc.

 Will I be entitled to tax exemption even if I donate via the Internet?

Yes. All payments are entitled to 50% tax exemption.

  When will my contribution reach PETA India?

We need a minimum of two working days to process your contribution. Hence, payments made by (for example) March 25, 2004 will reach PETA India by March 27, 2004.
